Chapter 22
Chapter 22
At the front of the carriage, four massive white oxen with golden horns were pulling it. The bizarre sight left Qin Han utterly stunned.
A half-human, half-goat monster... using oxen to pull a carriage?
This was unheard of.
As if sensing Qin Han’s arrival, the goat-man on the carriage throne suddenly grew agitated. It stood up, raised its Scepter, and pointed directly at Qin Han, letting out two bleats.
Instantly, It was like poking a hornet’s nest.
Nearly a thousand Wool Sheep in the hall rose from the ground in unison, turned their bodies in perfect sync, and began bleating furiously at Qin Han while launching a coordinated assault.
Seeing this, he immediately drew his bow and fired an arrow.
White Sheep Guardian: Level 20 monster.
HP:
White Sheep Guardians are fiercely loyal, devoting their lives to their king. Any who dare defy the king’s authority will be obliterated beneath their horns.
Staring at the terrifying 30,000 HP, Qin Han felt his jaw drop.
Damn, These sheep monsters had significantly more HP than the average Level 20 creature.
While killing a few wouldn’t be difficult with his current attack power, Without any AoE skills, taking down a thousand sheep one arrow at a time would mean shooting until dawn with no end in sight.
As the flock drew closer, A plan formed in his mind.
He pulled out the Fire Oil originally meant for burning grasslands and hurled it frantically onto the ground ahead.
Over a dozen jars splashed across a wide area.
Just as the sheep were about to charge, He lit a torch and flung it into the oil.
In an instant, A towering inferno erupted.
The Wool Sheep, seemingly unaware of the danger, charged recklessly into the flames.
Wool, being highly flammable, Ignited the moment it touched the fire.
Almost immediately, The terrifying blaze, fueled by the burning wool, rapidly engulfed the entire flock.
Soon, the entire formation of a thousand sheep was ablaze.
Countless -500 damage numbers flickered incessantly, And the sea of HP bars visibly dwindled before his eyes.
However, Unfortunately, When the HP bars dropped to about two-thirds, They abruptly stopped.
Because the fire had burned out!
The Fire Oil had been completely consumed, Leaving the Wool Sheep as crispy, meat-scented carcasses.
And then, The half-human, half-goat monster on the carriage raised its Scepter and cast Group Healing.
A white light enveloped the flock, And green healing symbols began popping up above their heads.
+50 healing effects flickered repeatedly.
Visibly, their wounds began to mend, And even their wool regrew.
"Damn, they even have healing? Not that it matters—these Wool Sheep have way too much HP, and I don’t have enough Fire Oil to finish them off anyway."
Shifting his gaze, Qin Han maneuvered Nightmare to create distance, Seized an opening, And loosed an arrow straight at the figure on the throne.
The Godslayer Bow ignored defense, and the energy arrow flew at blinding speed.
Thunk!
It struck the monster squarely in the eye.
A yellow 1010 critical damage number soared into the air.
Deep Green Poison Damage -200 kept popping up, The monster's name was revealed:
Sheep Tribe Guardian: Level 20, Leader-level Monster.
Its HP was a terrifying 20 million points, This explosive HP made Qin Han's eyelids twitch uncontrollably.
Even more absurd was that after being injured, the half-human, half-goat creature began emitting green light above its head, +200 healing constantly appearing.
In the blink of an eye, the lost HP was restored.
"What's the point of fighting this? With my damage, I might as well be tickling this old man."
"Luckily, obtaining the Hidden Profession Token doesn’t require killing this thing. Otherwise, just grinding its HP would exhaust me to death."
"The guide mentioned there’s a passage behind the bookshelf of the 19th Layer Throne, leading to a wondrous place."
"From what that person said, as long as I reach the world beyond and find a fenced yard, the token can be easily obtained without any further combat."
